President Hosni Mubarak National Democratic Party (NDP) leader has received a detailed report turned in by Safwat Al-Sharif NDP Secretary General on the results of the elections of the NDP at Marakiz and Qisms which ended yesterday 20/9/2007 in 350 locations at all governorates.

The report included as well preparations for the third stage to be held next Wednesday 26/9/2007 at governorates level.

Later, President Mubarak delegated by the politburo is to give a decree on the appointment of governorates secretaries before the end of September.

Policies secretariat members under Gamal Mubarak assistant NDP Secretary General and policies secretary are having intensive meetings with government officials to prepare for a work papers to be forwarded to the NDP Congress.

Those papers are dealing with future visualization on strategic issues like energy, water, and executive programs for economic and social issues concerning the daily life of citizens.

Percentage of change according to the results of elections of the two stages reached from 35 to 45.

It was 70 percent in some locations, NDP Secretary General Safwat Al-Sharif said.

The elections showed remarkable increase in the representation of youth and woman, Al Sharif added.
