20 bird flu-infected human victim died 5/3/2008


The Ministry of Health and Population announced the death of the 20th human bird flu-infected case on March 4, 2008.

The 25-year old woman entered Fayyom Fever Hospital then she was moved to el-Giza Chest Diseases Hospital while suffering high from temperature, slow respiration, lung inflammation and pain in the body after being in contact with bird flu-inflected birds and she received due treatment.

Specimens were taken from all members of the family and all persons in contact with the 20th victim and reported negative.
