An Egyptian youth died Saturday 5/4/2008 of bird flu, bringing to 21 the number of fatalities since the virus first appeared in February 2006.
Mohamed Idris Hassan from Behira, 135km North of the capital Cairo, died on Saturday, the Health Ministry said.
The 19-year old was admitted to the Alexandria Fiver Hospital on April 3 suffering from high temperature, respiratory problems and pneumonia after contacting with inflected birds.
