The Mubarak Education City is the largest of its kind in the Middle East. Equipped with the latest in education technology, it spreads over some 243600 sq. meters in the 6th of October City metropolitan.
Sections
Teachers' Training Institute
The Institute has more than 100 classrooms with a total seating capacity of 4000 trainees.
It consists of:
1. The Technology Development Center
Section A has:
• 12 computer and laser laboratories (25 – 30 trainees)
• 15 computer laboratories (25 – 30 trainees)
• 6 language laboratories (20 trainees)
• 3 e-learning classrooms
Section B incorporates the following:
• Multi-media
• Graphics
• Information systems
• Video conference
• E-education
The center produces and broadcasts educational compact disks and television programs serving students in the various educational stages.
The Training Halls
Section C has 44 training halls (20 – 50 trainees each)
The ground floor has 63 halls with a total seating capacity of 2500.
The Residential Building
The building provides room and board to a total of 1250 guests and is furnished with open courtyards and state-of-the-art sports equipment.
The Conference Center
The Big Hall
Seating a total of 1753, it is provided with a simultaneous translation unit, sound and video conference systems and 2 movie screening machines.
The Small Hall
It has a total seating capacity of 342 and the same features of the Big Hall to which it is also directly connected.
Mrs. Mubarak's Science Complex
Mrs. Mubaraks Exploratory Science Center
It consists of:
• Science club
• Language laboratory
• Computer club
• Arket corner
• Children's paradise
• Art club
• Environment club
• Electronics laboratory

• Science museum
• Scientists' hall of fame
• Image maximum (IMAX) theater
• Puppet theater
The IMAX Educational Center
It seats 270 spectators and has a 17 x 21 screen which shows 2 and 3 dimensional films.
The Exploratory Scientific City
It consists of a variety of habitats, e.g. Bedouin, mountainous, and glacial. It also holds a zoo, a lake and a water fall along with a number of museums.
Futuristics
It consists of a futuristic educational center and a museum complex.
The Early Childhood Development Center
It is the product of fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Education on the one hand and the UNESCO and ICFEM (International Conference on the Foundations of Computer Sciences) on the other. The first of its kind in the Middle East, the center also has an Information Unit and nursery software production center.
The Books Section
The section has the capacity of storing 600 million school books a year.
