The Integrated Care Society (ICS) has established the Integrated Care Center in El Gabarty in cooperation with the UNDP and Ministry of Health at the end of 1988. The center aimed to provide populations of Manshat Naser with the social development through introducing the cultural, health and social services.
Educational services:
• Computer Courses for youths to provide them with skills which enable them to get more job opportunities.
• Eliminating illiteracy classes.
• Courses in vocational training for women in tricot, dressmaking and cutting out.
Health services:
The medical center, established by Ministry of Health, affiliated to El Gabarty center introduces many services for populations of the district through its different clinics for treating children, skin diseases, internal diseases, women diseases, teeth diseases, eye diseases, rays and a pharmacy. The center also participates in the national campaigns for vaccination according to the program of the Ministry of Health.
Social services:
• A kindergarten to care for children, according to curriculum of Ministry of Education before joining the primary schools.
• The summer club for children in which they can practice their hobbies in drawing, acting and reading in the library of the center.
• Scout activity in which boys and girls undergo training on scout works in the classes and garden of the center.
