Egypt honors national football team

/>The Egyptian government honored yesterday 21/2/2008 the national football team and its technical staff in a magnificent ceremony at the Cairo Stadium organized by the National Council for Sport, on the occasion of the remarkable wining of the African Cup of Nations 2008. </p> <p align=Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazif, as well as a number of ministers, senior officials and members of the People Assembly and Shura Councils witnessed the celebrations.

Many Egyptian citizens attended to the Cairo Stadium raising the Egyptian flag in appreciation to the great victory achieved by the national squad.

The celebrations included the displaying of a 10-minute documentary film on the journey of Egypt's football team during matches of the African Cup of Nations Championship hosted by Ghana.
