A qualifying course for referees who participate in the championship of African Nations started on 22/11/2005 in the city of 6 October. This course is organizing by the Egyptian Federation for Football and will end in the 29th of November current.

About 52 referees are attending this course and representing different contenders who will be subjected to physical check up.

Remarkably, the African Federation of Football chose the international former Egyptian referee Mahmoud Othman as a general coordinator.

Under the auspices of the FIFA, elites of international lecturers will present their lecturers to the attendants.
