Fifty-nine new A/H1N1 cases were confirmed in Egypt, raising to 1,422 the total cases, the Health Ministry said Wednesday 4/11/2009.
Among the cases are 27 in schools, ministry spokesman Abdel Rahaman Shahin said.
Shahin pointed out that the total school cases thus reached 175 including three in nursery, 90 in primary, 60 in preparatory and 22 in secondary school.
The number of cases detected among university students reached four. The cases recovered stand at 1,332, Shahin said.
