Aviation Expo (AVEX 2006) will start Tuesday March 7th in Sharm el-Sheikh, with the participation of 50 companies interested in air transport industry.

Eng. Ibrahim Mana'a, chairman of the Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation, and spokesman of Expo, said that the present session will feature a great number of exhibitors who will display 32 new types of small and medium-sized aircraft, besides engines and ground handling equipment.

Some cultural and tourist activities including an air show will take place in addition to a gala night at a Pharaonic temple in Luxor on the occasion of the inauguration of new Luxor Airport.
