The second international civil aviation exhibition AVEX 2006 wrapped- up at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport on Friday.

President Hosni Mubarak inaugurated the three-day event on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif and Minister of Civil Aviation Ahmed Shafiq attended the inauguration, along with other ministers.

The exhibition saw the signing of several agreements between charter companies.

 The Arab Airports Council has convened at the end of the exhibition to discuss means of boosting cooperation and joint action, especially in term of security and air safety.
