A great afternoon drift dive just to the north of the light beacon. The reef forms a steep slope extending seaward. Along the reef, there are large Gorgonian fan corals, and tall coral heads abundant with small marine life.
Finish the dive before the entrance to the North Lagoon.Dive time is 50 minutes, depending on the strength of the current. Look to the open water for leopard shark, a frequent visitor to this reef. Plan this dive carefully; a dive for experienced divers only.
Consider the sea conditions - swell and sea breezes - and check the strength and direction of the current. Surface close to the reef and wait for your dive boat to pick you up. Surprisingly, South Lagoona is seldom dived.
