This is a very popular area for divers and snorkelers. . Sharks Bay is a self contained complex with a modern hotel and a fully equipped dive center.

    The view across to Tiran Island is superb. A campsite is located close to the beach and a jetty allows for easy entry to the water.

    Sharks Bay can be reached by boat or jeep. Local dive operators use the site for check dives and teaching. There is a mooring line close to the jetty. To the right of the jetty, the sand bottom slopes to a small ledge close to coral heads . at 10 meters. Further to the right, there is a canyon similar . to the one at White Knight but smaller.

    The reef slopes steeply down to a large sand plateau at 13 meters. Sharks Bay is a sheltered site with little or no current. If diving from the beach, take some large mats for your equipment - the sand gets everywhere.
