A 25 minute sail south from Na'ama Bay will bring you to Amphoras. The name is derived from the remains you can find if you look closely - the Amphoras are overgrown with coral. They were deposited by a ship which was laid to rest here a couple of hundred years ago.
Amphoras has a similar formation to Sodfa. A coral plateau starts at 10-12 meters and gently slopes to the drop-off where large Gorgonian fan corals can be seen. At a depth of 21 meters you can see the remains of a chain complete with anchor. Amphoras has a local current. A good .afternoon dive with lots of coral and marine life. Popular for snorkeling.
