Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak opens Saturday June 10 in Cairo the World Summit of Women, better known as the "Women's Davos."
Mrs. Mubarak will address the three-day gathering, which brings together up to 1,000 businesswomen and 40 ministers of finance and trade from various parts of the world.
The summit will honour Mrs. Mubarak for her painstaking efforts to improve the women's status in Egypt and spread the culture of peace through the Suzanne Mubarak International Movement for Peace.
Secretary General of the National Council of Women Furkhanda Hassan said that the conference, which first opened 15 years ago, seeks to enhance financial empowerment of women.
