ETAA compensates families of Mexican killed, injured

Head of the Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA) Khalid El Menawi said on Tuesday, 10/5/2016 an agreement was reached with Mexican lawyers to pay out compensation to families of Mexican tourists, who were killed and injured by mistake in Egypt last year.
 
The agreement was concluded under the auspices of Egypt's Ambassador to Mexico Yasser Shaaban and Egyptian Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed, he added.
 
Menawi noted that an initiative was offered to boost relations between the Egyptian and Mexican tourism sectors in the coming period.
 
Lawyers of the Mexican families appreciated the ETAA initiative and pledged that they will not file any lawsuit against the Egyptian government.
