Hungarian PM visit to Egypt

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visits Cairo on Tuesday 31/5/2016 on top of great Hungarian businessmen delegation in a 3-day visit.
The visit aims at completing the talks held by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi during his visit to Budapest last June. Besides, the visit comes to push forward the bilateral relations in all domains.
Sisi and Prime Minister Sherif Ismail hold talks with the Hungarian PM during his visit on means of cooperation in all domains and international issues of joint interests.
During the visit, Hungarian PM confers with Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi, Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb and Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria and Patriarch of the Sea of St. Mark Tawadros II.
The visit witnesses signing a number of cooperation agreements between Egypt and Hungary. The trade exchange between the two countries hit $ 300 million last year and the Hungarian tourists exceeded 40.000 last year.
This visit sets a basis for a new phase of economic cooperation based on the joint interests of the two countries. The delegation includes ministers of economic development and foreign trade, foreign affairs, electricity and international cooperation.
