Health Minister Ahmed Emad Radi headed for Ismailia on Sunday 26/2/2017 to help Coptic families who left North Sinai after threats by militants there.
The minister is accompanied by a medical convoy to offer necessary medical supplies to the families, Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled Megahed said. The convoy includes a number of doctors, medicines and makeshift labs. For three consecutive days, medical convoys will head for Ismailia to treat for free Coptic families.
Following the rise of militant operations that targeted Coptic citizens in North Sinai city of Al-Arish, several Coptic families decided to leave the city, heading to Ismailia governorate.
