President Sisi's visit to Kuwait, Bahrain

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived for Kuwait on a two-day official visit that will be followed by a visit to Bahrain.
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jabir welcomed President Sisi upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport.
Sisi is scheduled to hold talks with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah on means of enhancing bilateral relations.
The talks also include consultation and coordination over regional and international issues of common interest.
Following his visit to Kuwait, Sisi will head for Bahrain for talks with King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifa on promoting bilateral relations at all levels.
The talks will also tackle means of bringing closer Arab ranks so as to enhance the Arab world's ability to protect common interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples in addition to standing up against any attempts for foreign interference in the internal Arab affairs.
Egypt and Kuwait
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived for Kuwait, while Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber Al Sabah, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber Al Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Meshal al Ahmad al Jaber Al Sabah along with a host of Kuwaiti officials received him at Kuwait International Airport.
The two sides held a session of talks at Al Bayan Palace. Sisi- Al Sabah talks touched on ways of boosting bilateral ties at all levels and cementing all aspects of cooperation in various fields. Also, the two sides discussed means to support joint Arab action and develop ties among Arab States.
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber held a banquet in honor of President El Sisi and his accompanying delegation.
President Sisi received Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al Mubarak al Hamad al Sabah at his residence and appreciated the level of relations maintained between Egypt and Kuwait under the leadership of Emir Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah.
The President also received at his residence Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al Ghanim and a number of National Assembly lawmakers.
President Sisi also received First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah al Khaled al Hamad Al Sabah and said the current stage requires more Arab solidarity so as to enable the Arab nations to face the current common challenges.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdel Wahab al Bader at his residence in Kuwait, saying that the fund contributes to the implementation of many development projects in Egypt.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had a meeting with members of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti economic cooperation council on promoting economic cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Sisi hailed the council's role since its establishment in November 2015 in boosting economic ties between the two countries.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Bahraini King Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held bilateral talks followed by an expanded session which included the two countries' delegations. Egypt is keen on promoting bilateral ties with Bahrain in the various spheres in order to attain joint interests between the two countries, said President Sisi. The Bahraini King hailed Egypt's pioneering role in the region, adding that Egypt spares no effort to support the Gulf countries and the whole Arab world. The talks dealt with ways of boosting bilateral ties between the two countries.
At the end of talks, the Bahraini King bestowed on President Sisi the Issa bin Salman Al Khalifa's Order of Merit-Excellence Class in appreciation of Egypt's continued support to Bahrain.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited the headquarters of Bahrain Economic Development Board, accompanied by Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and a raft of Bahraini ministers and senior officials. He was given a presentation on the goals and activities of the board, which is the body responsible for luring investors to Bahrain and supporting initiatives aiming at boosting the investment environment in the Kingdom.
Mohamed El Sweidy the Head of the Egyptian side to the Egyptian Bahraini Business council said the first Egyptian Bahraini Exhibition was held in Manama from May 16-18 under the auspices of the prime ministers in both Egypt and Bahrain. He said fifty Egyptian companies working in different domains took part in the Exhibition. The fair was sponsored by “Tahya Masr” Fund.
