Sisi, Argentine Vice President probe promoting joint economic coop.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Sunday 16/7/2017 at Cairo's Ittihadiya Presidential Palace Argentine Vice President Gabriela Michetti, currently visiting Egypt.
Sisi welcomed Michetti especially that her visit to the country coincides with the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Egypt and Argentina, said presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef.
The president pointed out to the positive outcome of the meeting held with the Argentine president in September 2016 on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in China.
During the meeting, the two leaders agreed on the importance of boosting bilateral ties at all levels.
Sisi voiced Egypt’s keenness on bolstering joint cooperation in various fields.
The president welcomed the Argentine Parliament’s ratification of the free trade agreement between Egypt and the Mercosur bloc in May which will push forward trade exchange movement between Egypt and the bloc countries topped by Argentina.
Sisi stressed the importance of activating the economic and commercial committee between the two countries so as to discuss boosting bilateral economic cooperation.
He further reviewed with the Argentine official the national projects currently being implemented and the steps taken by the government to provide an attractive atmosphere to investors.
The president pointed out to the economic reform measures where the Egyptian people bear their consequences with courage.
Sisi asserted that Egypt’s efforts exerted to achieve economic development run parallel with combating terrorism.
During the meeting, Michetti voiced her country’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Egypt in various fields during the coming phase, Yousef reiterated.
She further lauded the economic reform measures currently taken by Egypt , noting that Argentina had a similar experience and it achieved progress in comprehensive development during the past years.
The Argentine official highlighted cooperation opportunities between the two nations especially in the sectors of agriculture, scientific research, technology, renewable energy, education, culture and sports.
The delegation of the two countries discussed bolstering joint cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food security as well as agricultural industries, the spokesman underlined.
Sisi lauded the historic cooperation and the role of Argentina in establishing Inshas reactor.
The two sides probed promoting cooperation in the field of fighting terrorism taking into consideration that extremism poses a threat to the whole world.
