Prime Minister Sherif Ismail witnessed on Wednesday 13/9/2017 the signing of two agreements on establishing some national projects in Giza governorate and Upper Egypt in the presence of Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli.

The first deal is mean to develop a sewage treatment plant in Giza.

In a press conference held at the cabinet’s headquarters, Madbouli said the project will help upgrade the plant’s efficiency through adding 400.000 cubic meters to its production capacity, which currently stands at 1.2 million cubic meters daily.

The project, which costs EGP 1.8 billion, will be finalized in three years, the minister added.

The sewage treatment plant will serve nine million people living in governorates that suffer from this drainage ditch, the minister noted.

The second agreement aims at building a number of children’s hospitals in Upper Egypt, Madbouli asserted.

In this regard, a cooperation protocol was inked with Dar Al Orman Charity to construct two children’s hospitals in New Sohag City and New Beni Suef City, the minister stressed.
