Ahly oust Tunisia's Esperance, snatch CL semifinal ticket

Egypt's Ahly achieved an important 2-1 victory on Tunisia's Esperance in their away match of the quarter-finals of CAF Champions League, played at Stade Olympique de Radès on Saturday 23/9/2017.

The result was enough for Ahly to snatch a ticket to the championship's semi finals by achieving a 3-2 win on aggregate.

The host scored first by Taha Yassine Khenissi from a penalty in the the 40th minute, but the Egyptian team manage to secure a good comeback with two consecutive goals scored by Ali Maaloul and Junior Ajayi.

A week ago, Al Ahly put themselves in troubles in the home game, when Esperance secured a 2-2 draw at Alexandria's Borg El Arab Stadium.
