Egypt, Bosnia agree on inking protocol to enhance cultural cooperation

Egypt and Bosnia agreed on enhancing cultural ties via signing cooperation protocol that allows the two sides to exchange troupes.

The protocol allows also the two nations to prepare a list of books in various fields to be translated from Bosnian language to Arabic and vice versa to give the two peoples the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultures of each other.

This came during the meeting held between Culture Minister Helmy el Namnam and his Bosnian counterpart, currently visiting Egypt.

Namnam welcomed the Bosnian minister in Cairo and his presence at International Samaa' Festival for Spiritual Music & Chanting.

For his part, the Bosnian minister expressed his happiness over visiting Egypt, stressing the importance of the participation of a band from his country in the festivals.

He further voiced keenness on promoting joint cultural cooperation not only in arts but also in translation especially in literature.
