FM pursues his contacts in Paris to promote for the nomination of Moushira Khattab

The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: The Minister meets with the Permanent Representatives of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and the Chairperson of the African Commission to discuss the steps ahead in the next two days.
In the context of the efforts exerted by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in Paris to promote for the candidature of Minister Moushira Khatabb, the candidate of Egypt and Africa for the post of Director General of UNESCO, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Counselor Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Minister Shoukry pursued his contacts with the foreign ministers of a number of member states of the Executive Council For UNESCO to mobilize the greatest support for Minister Khattab.
He also made contacts with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the framework of the joint coordination in support of the Egyptian candidate.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that Shoukry met with the permanent representatives of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain to coordinate stances within the clear support and the efforts exerted by the three brotherly countries to support the candidature of Khattab, during this stage.
Abu Zeid added that the Foreign Minister also met with Moussa Faki, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, to discuss the steps ahead in the next two days and ways to provide all forms of support for the Egyptian and African candidate.
