Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghafar leads Egypt's delegation to the Education World Forum (EWF), to be held in London on January 21-24.

The delegation groups Minister of Education Tarek Shawqi and Head of the Parliament Education Committee Gamal Sheha.

A statement released by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Reseach said Abdel Ghafar is scheduled to attend a plenary session on personal education skills which contributed to achieving national successes. The forum will be aired live via social media outlets.

The minister and his accompanying delegation will attend a second session on policies of preparing curricula, development of education methods and helping students to develop their skills.

Several initiatives and researches on education as well as personal initiatives on future of education will be reviewed during the forum proceedings.

The event is supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for International Trade (DIT), the Department for International Development (DfID), the British Council and the EWF industry partners.

The Forum offers three days of insight and inspiration from leading education pioneers, policy makers and education experts, with many of the sessions given by some 100 education ministers themselves as part of an honest assessment of countries’ common issues and challenges.
