Egyptian, Sudanese FMs hail bilateral relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry and his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour stressed the depth of ties binding Egypt and Sudan, foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement.
The two ministers affirmed that Cairo and Khartoum are keen to help the bilateral relations be back to normal, he added.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the preliminary meetings of the 30th African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa.
The two ministers agreed on not paying attention to any rumors or wrong information that may harm bilateral relations.
They also said media outlets in both countries shoulder a national responsibility with regard to preserving Egypt-Sudan relations.
