World's tallest man, shortest woman visit Giza Pyramids

Sultan Kosen of Turkey, the World's tallest man, toured the Giza Pyramids plateau as part of his first visit to the country.

Accompanied by the world’s shortest woman Jyoti Amge from India, Kosen expressed his astonishment at the pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the earth.

During their stay, Kosen and Amge will make a tour to the most important tourist destinations and archaeological sites in Cairo, with the aim of promoting the Egyptian tourism.

The two Guinness World Records holders will hold a press conference at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel in Cairo on Saturday.

For her part, Amge voiced her great happiness with visiting the Pyramids, praising the great Egyptian civilization.

Both record-holders won their records in 2011, with Kosen being measured at 243 cm (7 ft 9) tall and Amge being only 62.8 cm (2 ft 06) tall, according to the Guinness World Records official website.
