Sisi, Saudi CP inaugurate El Forsan resort in Ismailia

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and visiting Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman inaugurated El Forsan tourist resort in Ismailia. The president and his Saudi guest were posted on the construction process of the resort, which took 18 months to be built. The resort which features old French architectural styles overlooks Lake Timsah and the Suez Canal, and it was set up upon the directives of Sisi within the framework of developing the Suez Canal Corridor. The project provides 800 permanent job opportunities for youth.
The tourist resort includes a hotel occupying an area of 20,000 square meters and consisting of 305 rooms as well as a number of restaurants. It also comprises halls for conferences and special events in addition to a gym and a health club.
The resort has a 140,000 square meter sports club area consisting of a building with restaurants, multiple-type meeting rooms and a sports building. The club has a mosque, open venues and recreational and Olympic swimming pools.
The resort also houses a shopping mall, including 100 shops, eight cinemas and a hypermarket.
Ninety-two companies partook in constructing the project which offered 950,000 job opportunities.
