Sisi asserts keenness on boosting ties with Jordan

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday13/3/2018 underlined that Egypt is keen on promoting joint action with Jordan.

At a meeting with visiting Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Al Mulqa, he expressed appreciation of the Jordanian stances over all issues of common concern in light of the current challenges facing the region, said presidential spokesman Bassam Radi.

For his part, the visiting premier asserted that bilateral relations are strong in all domains, said the spokesman.

Mulqa also highlighted the vital Egyptian role in the region that contributes to standing up to joint challenges, added the spokesman.

The meeting took up means of promoting bilateral relations along with the recent developments in the region with emphasis on the crises in Syria and Iraq, added the spokesman.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Defense Minister Colonel General Sedky Sobhy and Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil.

Also the meeting was attended by Jordanian Minister of State for Economic Affairs Jaafar Hassan and Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohamed al Mamony along with Jordanian Ambassador here Ali Hamdan al Abed, added the spokesman.
