Sisi, Bashir attend 'Egyptian Family Celebration' at Cairo Stadium

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar el Bashir attended on Monday 19/3/2018 the "Egyptian Family Celebration" at the covered hall of Cairo Stadium.
The ceremony saw massive presence of all Egyptian segments who welcomed Sisi and Bashir.
Earlier in the day, President Sisi received his Sudanese counterpart upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, then they left for Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, where an official reception was held for the Sudanese guest.
Then, both leaders held a session of talks, in which Bashir highlighted historical relations as well as joint cultural and social ties that are binding both countries for thousands of years.
The "Egyptian Family Celebration" started by an artistic show that was followed by a patriotic song entitled "Sudan for Egypt, and Egypt for Sudan", highlighting historical ties binding both brotherly countries.
Then, the Egyptian band Black Theama presented a musical show, reflecting brotherly relations between both countries and their peoples.
After that, a video clip shedding light on the heroes of the Egyptian Armed Forces (commandos) was screened. Sisi and Bashir delivered speeches at the "Egyptian Family Celebration", then the national anthems of Sudan and Egypt were played.
After that, both leaders left the covered hall of Cairo Stadium, concluding the activities of the event.
