PM urges citizens to participate in presidential election

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail hailed the unique experience of Egyptian expatriates who voted in the presidential polls in various capitals of world countries amid an atmosphere of patriotism.

This reflects the sense of belonging and awareness of the Egyptians abroad with the issues of their homeland and importance of taking part in formulating Egypt's future, he noted.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the premier lauded the efforts exerted by the Egyptian diplomats in organizing the process of casting ballots at the embassies and consulates which contributed to reflecting the civilized image of Egyptians.

Ismail urged the Egyptians nationwide to participate in the presidential election scheduled on March 26-28 to support the State in achieving economic reform, secure a better future for the coming generations, encounter challenges and send a message to the whole world that Egypt is on the right track at all levels, the statement read.
