Sisi, Hungarian PM discuss boosting joint cooperation

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Friday 13/04/2018 expressed keenness on continuing coordination with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to boost joint cooperation between both sides, consultation on various issues of common concern, and friendly relations with the Visegrad Group member states.

On their phone call, Sisi congratulate Orban on winning his country's general elections, expressing Egypt's appreciation of its ties with Hungary, in light of positive developments witnessed during the recent years, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.

Orban thanked Sisi and congratulated him on getting re-elected for a second presidential term, praising historic and close relations between the two countries and peoples.

He also stressed his country's and Visegrad's member states' keenness to develop relations with Egypt in the various fields.

The Visegrad Group is a cultural and political alliance of four Central European nations; the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
