Sisi: Egypt keen on promoting cooperation with China Poly Group

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed on Tuesday 15/5/2018 Egypt's keenness on enhancing cooperation with the China Poly Group Corporation in the various fields and increasing its investments in Egypt particularly in light of the growing economic partnership with China and strategic relations between the two countries.
During a meeting with Lin Wang, the Vice President of China Poly Group Corporation, in the presence of Minister of State for Military Production Dr Mohamed el Assar, President Sisi said the private sector plays a key role in promoting the relations through increasing investments, transferring knowledge and expertise and promoting trade exchange for the best interest of the two nations.
The President praised cooperation with the group in a number of fields including manufacturing electrical vehicles in Egypt, integrated infrastructure of power charging for vehicles, establishing a tire factory in Egypt and taking part in the ongoing electric bullet train in Egypt, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The group's vice president expressed appreciation of the group for cooperation with the Egyptian government and keenness on promoting cooperation in light of the increasing economic growth in Egypt and the current development mega projects, Radi added.
Egypt has the potential to become a hub of the group's industries in the Middle East and Africa in light of the group's confidence in the Egyptian investment atmosphere and the agreements that link Egypt and China, he said.
The meeting covered cooperation in various fields between Egypt and the group and the two sides reviewed the numerous measures taken by Egypt lately to improve the atmosphere of investment and encourage investment in the various industrial sectors, he added.
