Sisi hails India's Bohra sect for renovating archaeological mosques

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commended the efforts exerted by Sultan Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of India's Bohra sect, to renovate archaeological mosques in addition to carrying out charity works.
During a meeting Saifuddin and his two sons, the president underlined the historical ties between Egypt and Bohra sect, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
Saifuddin hailed the progress which Egypt realized at the security and stability levels.
He also extolled religious freedom in Egypt, underscoring the sect's interest in investing in Egypt.
Rady noted that Saifuddin extended EGP 10 million to Tahya Misr Fund.
