Sisi embarks on two-day visit to Sudan

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his wife arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum Thursday on a two-day official visit.
He was received at the airport by his Sudanese counterpart Omar al Bashir and top Sudanese officials.
The Egyptian leader is planned to hold summit talks with Bashir that will include several topics including bilateral relations, joint cooperation in the various domains, as well as a number of African, Arab, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
This is President Sisi’s first overseas visit since he started his second term in office.
Upon his arrival in Khartoum, President Sisi was welcomed with a red-carpet ceremony that involved playing the national anthem of Egypt and Sudan and reviewing the guard of honor.
President Sisi was keen to shake hands with members of the delegation accompanying the Sudanese president before heading to the reception hall of Khartoum airport.
