During July 2018, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed the inauguration of the 6th National Youth Conference and "Ask the President" initiative as one of the activities of the conference, which is considered one of the strongest direct and effective communication tools between the Egyptian citizen and the President.
On the internal level, the President continued his follow-up to the government's performance. The President also issued directives on several important issues during his meetings with officials.
On the external level, the President received many foreign officials as part of Egypt's keenness to continue working on developing its balanced relations with various countries of the world. July 2: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed to resume studying the strategic plan aiming at enhancing transport logistic network in Egypt. This came during Sisi’s meeting with Transportation Minister Hisham Arafat, Head of Suez Canal authority Mohab Mamish and Head of Administrative Control Authority Mohamed Erfan.
July 2: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed officials to accelerate the steps of developing the road safety system to reduce the number of road accidents. This came during Sisi's meeting with Minister of Transport Hisham Arafat, head of the Administrative Control Authority Mohamed Erfan, head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Kamel El Wazir and head of the national road agency Magdy Anwar.
July 4: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asked the government to take all necessary measures to go ahead with the social and economic reform program and continue work to cut down the public debt. President Sisi further directed the government to resolve tax conflicts , and finalize financial aspects related to the national health insurance project. President Sisi gave these remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait, Deputy Finance Minister for Financial Affairs Ahmed Kojak and Deputy Finance Minister for Public Treasury Ehab Abu Aish.
July 5: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed to continue the development of health sector in Egypt. This came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Health Minister Hala Zaid. The meeting also reviewed the Health Ministry’s efforts to develop health sector and health insurance project and establish model hospitals.
July 8: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed officials to boost the measures of domestic trade and tighten market controls. Sisi’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli and Minister of Supplies and Internal Trade Aly el Meselhi. The President also asked them to explore the potentials of holding a partnership between the private and public sectors along with giant international retailers for establishing supply chains in Egypt; benefiting from the potentials of the huge Egyptian market.
July 8: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed the importance of the new health insurance project for the Egyptian people. The President made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Head of Egypt's Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel and the ministers of finance, health and communications. During the meeting, the President ordered equipping hospitals in governorates with the latest techniques to provide high-quality services for citizens.
July 9: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi highlighted the importance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ role in helping youth. Sisi's remarks came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy, with the president asserting that Egypt puts the youth on top of its priorities. During the meeting, President Sisi issued directives for upgrading means of discovering the talents of junior athletes in various governorates, expressing his full confidence in the Egyptian youths’ abilities and promising capabilities.
July 11: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed officials to secure basic commodities and tighten market controls. Sisi’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and ministers of defense, housing, justice, supply, tourism, finance and interior. The President also stressed the need for continuing efforts to provide basic commodities for citizens at affordable prices and establish a modern and integrated grain storage system.
July 14: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to continue exerting utmost to make new cities a pioneering model for life in Egypt in line with modern standards. He stressed the importance of providing means of practicing sports for all the brackets of the society. These remarks came during the meeting Sisi held with Premier and Housing Minister Moustafa Madboli, Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi, the Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces Mohamed Ameen Nasr and representatives of the Engineering Consultants Group (ECG).
July 16: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed the importance of continuing efforts to develop companies and factories affiliated to the Ministry of Military Production. Sisi made these remarks during his meeting with Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed El Assar.
July 17: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered finalizing the construction of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) by 2020. The President ordered maintaining high-level security standards at the Grand Egyptian Museum, whose opening ceremony will be a great cultural event. Sisi's remarks came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madboly, Antiquities Minister Khaled el Annani, Head of the Administrative Control Authority Mohamed Erfan and Giza Governor Mohamed el Daly.
July 18: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini. The meeting tackled means of boosting bilateral relations, with Sisi asserting Cairo’s keenness to foster cooperation with Rome at all levels and achieve strategic partnership with it.
July 24: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed the government to provide all necessary resources for supporting a national project to eliminate hepatitis C. Sisi's call came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait, Health Minister Hala Zayed and a number of experts and representatives of charities specialized in combating the disease.
July 31: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued directives to confront extremist and terrorist ideologies through promoting the true moderate image of Islam. During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Sisi said Islam rejects all sorts of extremism and terrorism, while urging peace, security, construction and peaceful co-existence among people.
July 31: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed officials to make the utmost use of solid waste recycling. The President made the remarks during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi and Environment Minister Yassmin Fouad. The meeting probed the national plan for solid waste recycling and management, as well as means of overcoming challenges facing this sector.
July 31: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended the swearing-in ceremony of counselor Hanafi Ali Gebali as new head of the Supreme Constitutional Court. The President granted counselor Abdel Wahab Hassan, the former head of the court, the order of the republic of the first class.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed on Saturday 21/07/2018 the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets at the Police Academy in New Cairo.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended on Sunday 22/7/2018 the graduation ceremony of new batches of military academies and institutes.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed on Tuesday 24/7/2018 the inauguration of a number of mega electricity projects. Three huge power plants implemented by Siemens in the New Administrative Capital, Beni Sweif and Borolos are among those projects.
6th National Youth Conference
Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the 6th National Youth Conference was held at Cairo University from 28-29 July 2018, entitled "Innovate… Advance" with the participation of 3000 students from all Egyptian universities and a number of scientists and officials in an open dialogue with youth.

Official Visits to Egypt
July 4: President Sisi received an Emirati ministerial delegation headed by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future. The President welcomed the members of the UAE ministerial delegation, expressing Egypt’s deep and friendly feelings to the UAE under the leadership of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
July 16: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Sultan Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of India's Bohra sect. President Sisi underlined the historical ties between Egypt and Bohra sect. President Sisi also thanks Saifuddin for his efforts to renovate archaeological mosques in addition to carrying out charity works.
President's Foreign Visits
July 19: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi began a two-day official visit to Sudan, it's Sisi's first trip to Khartoum since his re-election for a second term. This visit reflects the vitality and privacy of relations between the two countries and peoples.
