Thursday، 06 September 2018 - 12:19 PM

The Cabinet approved during its weekly meeting on Wednesday a bill on relocating interim exhibition “King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh" from the California Science Center to La Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris on March 18, 2019 through September 30 of the same year.

The move was taken in light of the efforts that seek to boost cultural relations between Egypt and world countries as well as to promote tourism to Egypt.

The Cabinet, under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, also okayed a presidential bill on a deal between the Egyptian government and the European Investment Bank about implementing the first phase of a project to expand wastewater treatment plants in Fayoum.

The project is to be carried out at a total cost of €395 million, including a €37-million grant.

The Cabinet also approved a presidential bill on an agreement between the Egyptian government and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to support the regional cooperation program of FAO's Regional Water Scarcity Initiative in the Near East and North Africa.
