PM starts next week series of visits to governorates

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said he will embark on a series of visit to governorates nationwide to reaffirm the state's keenness on improving living conditions, especially in Upper Egypt.


In statements following the weekly cabinet meeting, the premier voiced keenness to hold periodic meetings with media representatives to get the public opinion posted on cabinet decisions.


Madbouli lauded the president’s inauguration of several of projects in the fields of health and education, a matter that reflects that both sectors come on the top of the list of government priorities.


As for the initiative to end waiting lists in hospitals, the prime minister lauded the efforts exerted by NGOs in this regard.


He also praised a new educational system to be applied in the kindergarten, primary and preparatory phases as of Saturday.


Regarding the Cabinet’s weekly meeting, the prime minister said it addressed a number of issues, topped by ways to encourage investments especially in the development and productive projects.
