Ministry concludes training course for tourism cadres from African countries

The Tourism Ministry concludes on Thursday a training program organized by for 26 cadres representing the tourism sector in 21 African countries.
The 10-day program held under the theme "Managing heritage sites and mechanisms of protecting cultural heritage" has been organized for the fourth year in a row in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The program is part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen Egypt's relations with other countries, especially at the African level.
The program participants included cadres from the tourism ministries of many African countries such as Malawi, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Madagascar, Mauritius, Ghana, Sudan, Cameron, Ethiopia, the Republic of Congo, among other countries.
Tourism Minister Rania Mashat's Advisor for Training commended this type of training courses, which help create the rapprochement and cooperation among these countries at all fields, particularly with regard to training and exchange of expertise.
The participants toured a number of tourist sites in Hurghada, Giza and Cairo; as the program included a workshop on tourism.
