Egyptian Ambassador to South Africa Sherif Eissa has met with South African youth, who are set to take part in the 2nd edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) next month in Egypt.
During the meeting, Eissa briefed them on the forum and its targets, stressing that it is “a rich experience” for youth around the world.
Egypt seeks to boost dialogue and communication among peoples as well as to build trust and achieve mutual understanding between future generations across the world, he said.
The ambassador also told them that South African late leader Nelson Mandela will be honored during the event to mark the centenary of his birth.
Under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the World Youth Forum will be held on November 3-6 in Sharm el Sheikh resort city.
