Sisi receives Germany Economic Cooperation Minister

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Monday 29/10/2018 at his residence in Berlin with German Economic Cooperation and Development Minister Gerd Muller.
The President welcomed the meeting with the German Minister, praising the annual holding of the joint committee on economic and development cooperation between Egypt and Germany since 2016, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
Sisi voiced hope that these meetings will deepen and develop the prospects for joint cooperation in the field of development.
Muller, for his part, welcomed Sisi's visit to Germany, asserting his country's keenness to consolidate its partnership with Egypt in the field of development, especially in view of Egypt's regional influence.
He hailed the successes Egypt achieved during the recent period.
The President expressed aspiration to increase German investments in Egypt in light of the positive developments witnessed by Egypt as a result of the ongoing economic reform and the promising opportunities offered by major projects.
The meeting also tackled means of promoting the German-Egyptian cooperation in Africa.
