Sisi urges advanced states to shoulder responsibility towards reducing unemployment in developing nations

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi urged on Sunday advanced states to shoulder their responsibility towards lowering unemployment rates in developing nations.

Sisi, during an interpellation at a World Youth Forum session titled "The role of world leaders in building and sustaining peace", warned of the seriousness of the unemployment problem politically, economically and socially and their repercussions on social peace. He also warned of growing rates of illegal immigration.

The president wondered if rich and advanced countries are really ready to give a hand to developing nations with limited resources and open the way to them at the world market.

Are these advanced nations that have only 3-4-percent unemployment rate ready to help countries like Egypt and other African nations in setting up projects that would really lower growing unemployment, Sisi said.

This international help, if it really took place, would serve social and global peace, he said.

But in fact the interest of these advanced nations always comes first even if the price was, sometimes, related to the life of people, he added.
