Sisi witnesses’ final session of Model Arab African Summit

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed on Monday 5/11/2018 the final session of the Model Arab African Summit as part of the World Youth Forum (WYF) held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
The WYF 2018 kicked off on Saturday under the sponsorship of President Sisi with the participation of about 5,000 youths.
Some youths from Bahrain, Tunisia, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, who participated in the Model Arab African Summit, tackled means of exchanging expertise and enhancing joint cooperation in various economic, commercial and social fields.
They discussed also problems and crises facing several countries, such as Yemen and Iraq.
Following the discussions, President Sisi issued the final statement of the model summit which reflects aspirations of all peoples regarding the African and Arab worlds.
A documentary was displayed depicting the biography of great leaders who contributed to enhancing the values of humanity, unity and peace in the Arab and African worlds such as late Egyptian and South African presidents Mohamed Anwar el Sadat and Nelson Mandela, respectively.
The grandson of Nelson Mandela, Zondwa Mandela, said in his speech on the sidelines of the final session of the model summit that the conference represents the future aspired by the African Continent.
