President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted on Tuesday 6/11/2018 that Egypt has never distanced itself from the developments in the Arab region, terming the region's problems as "complex" and "very tough to be solved".
Sisi's remarks came in a meeting with local and foreign media representatives in Egypt on the fringe of the World Youth Forum (WYF), currently in session in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city.
Sisi explained that Egypt moves to resolve the region's issues are bounded by its potentials, adding that Arab security in the wake of January 2011 has been endangered.
Responding to a question by the Jordanian "Al Ghad" newspaper on coordination between Egypt and Jordan regarding the regional files, Sisi said cooperation among Arab countries vis-a-vis various crises is guaranteed by the Arab Charter.
