Environment Minister: Egypt, a joint point between Africa & Arab states

Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said the Sharm El-Sheikh declaration underlined Egypt's outstanding position as a meeting point between Arab and African states.
She made the remarks during a press conference held on Tuesday 13/11/2018 at the end of the African environment ministers' meeting.
Fouad reviewed several important issues, including protecting biodiversity, illegal trade in wild life and desertification and arid lands.
Meanwhile, the Algerian environment minister highlighted the importance of the meeting at the Arab and African levels, especially in view of the impact of global warming.
