20th int'l championship for Arabian Horses kicks off at Al Zahara Stud

The 20th Al Zahraa Festival and the 22nd international championship for the beauty of pure Arabian Horses kicked off at Al Zahara Stud Farm on Thursday.
Run till November 18, the competition included more than 300 purest horses coming from whole over the world.
Speaking to MENA, president of the Egyptian Agriculture Authority Khaled Tawfiq said his authority was deemed one of the oldest bodies concerned with preserving the breeds of the original Arabian horses.
The competition will be held at Al Zahraa Stud Farm over two stages; a local one and international one.
The competition is judged by an international committee from the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO) to choose the most beautiful horse among the contenders.
Winning horses are chosen based on their charisma, balanced conformation and type.
