President Abdel Fattah El Sisi instructed on Thursday the Administrative Control Authority (ACA), in coordination with bodies concerned, to proceed with its efforts needed for facing all forms of corruption in various bodies of the State.
President Sisi made the remarks on Thursday at a meeting with ACA head Sherif Seif el Din Hussein.
The meeting touched on a number of files of top priority by the government, which are directly connected with improving the living standards of the citizens and services offered for them, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The president reviewed work progress of the medical screening campaign to detect and treat Hepatitis C patients and the initiative to end patients' waiting lists in addition to efforts aiming to develop tax and customs systems, Radi added.
The meeting as well tackled the outcome of the State's information infrastructure project which is implemented by the ACA to guarantee that subsidy is delivered to those who deserve it, Radi noted.
The meeting tackled the final stage of the national anti-corruption strategy (2019/2022) in preparation for launching it on the International Anti-Corruption Day in December, Radi said.
