Sisi phones Kuwait Emir on bilateral relations, regional issues

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday phoned Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
The two leasers mulled ways of boosting bilateral relations, as well as the latest developments on the Arab and regional arenas in light of multiple challenges facing the Arab nation.
They agreed to continue efforts to resolve the existing crises in a number of Arab countries in a manner that alleviates human suffering and restore security and stability there.
Sisi expressed Egypt's pride in its historic brotherly relations with Kuwait at the political and popular levels.
The two countries' ties were formed over decades of solidarity and unity in face of crises and challenges, he added.
The president stressed Egypt's keenness to maintain and promote these distinguished relations to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and the entire Arab nation.
In turn, Sheikh Sabah praised the relations between Egypt and Kuwait and the ties of friendship and brotherhood binding the two brotherly peoples.
He also expressed Kuwait's keenness to strengthen the existing cooperation frameworks and continue consultation and coordination between the two sides on issues of mutual concern.
