Parl't speaker hails efforts of Egypt's delegation to UNHCR meetings

Parliament Spokesman Salah Hasaballah has hailed the competence of the Egyptian delegation that participated in the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, highlighting their success in foiling the schemes of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.
In a press statement, the parliament spokesman expressed his full confidence in the determination of the Egyptian State and the political leadership on exerting all efforts to improve the human rights conditions in the country, atop of which the right in living a decent, healthy and safe life.
The Egyptian delegation uncovered the ugly truth of the terrorist group and the lies it spreads against Egypt and its people, he said.
He also expressed his full rejection of statements by some European countries against Egypt which lack credibility.
There is no arbitrary detention, torture in prisons or enforced disappearance in Egypt, he asserted.
No citizen is arrested except for violating the law or committing crimes and those arrested stand a fair trial, he added.
