Bulgarian president appreciates partnership with Egypt in facing terror

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said Egypt and Bulgaria are partners in confronting terrorism, organized crime and illegal migration, praising Egypt's efforts in supporting stability in the Middle East and North Africa.
During a joint press conference with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi following their talks here on Tuesday at Ittihadia Palace, the visiting president said his country appreciates friendship with Egypt and its people. Egypt's history and civilization are highly appreciated in Bulgaria, he said, thanking President Sisi for his invitation.
He reiterated Bulgaria's support to Egypt's efforts to enhance stability in the Middle East and the North Africa region, pointing out that his country also backs Egypt's efforts to expand dialogue among the Arab League, the African Union and the European Union.
He voiced hope that security and stability would prevail in the MENA region.
Bulgaria is responsible for conveying Egypt's views regarding regional issues to the European Union states, he said, adding that conditions in the Middle East highly affect stability in the EU states.
