Manpower Minister Mohamed Safaan asserted on Monday 15/4/2019 the importance of activating the electronic connectivity system between Egypt and Libya through the two countries' ministries.

Safaan was speaking during his meeting with Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Al-Mahdi Al-Amen on the fringe of the 46th session of the Arab Labor Conference, currently being held in Cairo and running until April 21 under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The two ministers mulled Libya's need for Egyptian labor in the next phase.

In this regard, Safaan said Egypt is ready to offer the required labor to the secure Libyan zones after consultations between the foreign ministries of the two states, wishing that full stability would disseminate in all Libyan territories.

Amen, for his part, noted that Egypt's stability guarantees all the Arab region's stability, saying his country is in dire need for Egyptian labor as soon as possible.

He mentioned that the Egyptian expats in Libya, before 2011, exceeded three million.
